Two years ago, Carol attended a first of it’s kind event in Washington DC. It was called Alltribes DC First Nations National Day of Prayer. At this event, First Nations leaders from around our nation, read a proclamation granting forgiveness to our nation, for the atrocities committed against Native American peoples.  This was a powerful moment, as a people group forgave, and chose to move forward.

Last year, you may remember VOB took a team to participate in 3 days of around the clock worship on the National Mall in Washington, including leading a session at the 24/7 tent of worship, called David’s Tent.

This year, Alltribes DC and David’s Tent are merging, for a week of 24/7 First Nations worship, and the National Day of Prayer. All of this will take place on the National Mall, just blocks from Capitol Hill, the White House, Supreme Court, and Jefferson, Lincoln and Washington Memorials.  We are happy to announce that we are taking a team once again, this Nov. 7-11!

VOB is super excited to be able to bring a diverse team of worship leaders, intercessors, and artists, to lead worship, pray and build relationship with people from around our country. Last year, when leading worship at David’s Tent, 2 Muslim men came in while we were leading worship, and gave their hearts to the Lord!  We hope to see this again happening, as we lead worship in a very public place, in the heart of our nation’s capitol.  In addition, Carol is helping coordinate teams for the duration of the event.  This is especially dear to her heart, as she meets Native Americans from around the country, and supports them in standing for their people to come to know the Lord.  We could not be more honored to be assisting in this historic week in DC!!! 

We don’t mention funds all that often, although we know last month we did ask you to consider sponsoring our 2 young girls to college. It just so happens that these needs have come back to back. This is why we are feeling the need for a financial push over our normal monthly budget. We really need your support to help us meet these goals. Would you consider giving a special offering to help us? 

And please pray with us, as we prepare our team travels. There is a lot that needs to come together, but not too much for the Lord, and not with you on our team!!
