VOB News April/May “on the road again”

By the time you receive this update, Carol will be driving to Beaufort South Carolina to be a part of a Global Tabernacle of David leadership worship gathering and retreat. GToD leaders, as well as other friends of the ministry, will be gathering to teach, train, and spend time in worship.  Carol will be both leading worship, as well as teaching and training. Please be in prayer for her and everyone involved! GToD is an amazing ministry, dedicated to pursuing 24/7 online worship! Carol will be traveling with our good friend and ministry partner, Marta. Please pray for their travels there and back May 13-18. And by the way, you can join Carol online, as she leads worship on Monday nights at 8pm eastern. Follow Carol on her Facebook page to see details.  Thank you!

Wayne is traveling to Goa India June 4-12 to be on the team leading another Living Waters International Training. Other than one training to Mexico City in 2014, Wayne has not traveled overseas since 2007. It is exciting to bring the good news of the Gospel and the freedom to the captives that comes with it. In years past Wayne has served on a team multiple times in Thailand and the Philippines but this will be his first time to India. India overall is less than 3% Christian. A real prayer covering is needed to say the least. To say the most – Please PRAY!

To remind you what a Living Waters training is all about: Participants are trained through a combination of large group teaching, ministry sessions and small groups. The main emphasis of the training will be greater personal healing for the attending participant, helping them come closer to the Lord. Through healing prayer, we invite the Holy Spirit to mend our various wounds. As we enter into the healing process together, we learn how to offer healing to others, in Jesus’ Name, in raising up leaders.

There have already been leaders trained in the Southern region of India last year, whom we will join.

A group from Southern India experienced deep personal healing at a Living Waters training in Thailand in 2023. Dino Paul received a picture: “I see the gateway of India and a river running through it. I think I’m supposed to help bring Living Waters to Southern India.”

In March 2024, Dino and a marvelous team said ‘yes’ to hosting a 100-person Living Waters Training in Bangalore, India.

Married couple Naveen and Jini Lobo were two of those hundred. According to Jini, Living Waters “changed the way I looked at myself and others. I got healed physically as well as emotionally. I gave God the right place in my life…and I started sleeping well!  I am really thankful to Father God. The pilot program released a flood of new understanding. I am able to handle better many of my behavior patterns with which I struggled for long years. It’s so awesome to live without the burden of bad shame, sin…carefree because our Father God cares for me.”   [Borrowed from a Living Waters International Spotlight “Big Power of a Little Yes”]

VOB News March 2025 “Daniel”

Recently, I was reading Daniel, chapter 2.  Something stuck out to me that I have never really ‘taken in’ before.  King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, and he wanted the ‘wisemen, soothsayers, etc, to come and both tell him the dream, as well as interpret the meaning.  When none of these guys could figure anything out,  Nebuchadnezzar got super angry, and gave a command to put to death all the wisemen and soothsayers in the land.  This included Daniel, and his friends Hananiah, Azariah, and Mishael (aka Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego).  Daniel asked the king if he might grant he and his friends some time to figure the dream out.  His request was granted, and Daniel went to his friends and explained the situation.  The four of them sought the Lord together, and asked GOD for compassion to be able to discern the dream.  GOD spoke to Daniel, and revealed the dream, as well as the interpretation, and Daniel and his friends were all saved.

The thing that stuck out to me, was that Daniel shared the situation with his friends, and they sought the Lord together for a resolution.  The Lord heard them, and gave them the answer they sought.  Four GODly young men, standing together, crying out to the Lord for divine intervention for their very lives.  Not one of them did this alone.  They came together and sought the Lord.  I immediately thought of you, our dear friends, partners, and intercessors.  We share stories, both the difficult and the victorious.  We bring requests to you, asking for you to share in each situation in some form.  We cannot do this without you, and I don’t think the Lord would want it any other way.  None of us are lone rangers.  We need each other.  We need the Body of Christ, just as Daniel needed Hananiah, Azariah and Mishael.  Thank you for partnering with us in furthering the Kingdom.  Just as the 4 young men sought the Lord together and asked for divine intervention,  we thank you for seeking the Lord with us, for whatever He lays on our hearts and minds.  We need YOU!!
