What’s going on in Heaven?

Recently, VOB sponsored a ‘Worship Wells’ weekend in NC.  We gathered key believers for a weekend of ‘on-sight’ worship and prayer in our Snow Camp/Liberty area of NC. The historical significance of this area of our country, is profound!  Key trading paths between Native Americans and early colonists, pre-Revolutionary war encounters between poor farmers and wealthy land owners, significant Revolutionary war battles in the fight for freedom from tyranny in our nation, as well as historical roots in the Underground Railroad and the struggle to share the Gospel during very troubled times, were areas we targeted in our time of worship and prayer. 

Our goal always, as a ministry, is to assist the poor and needy however we can, throughout the nations,  as well as partnering with the Lord through His calling in worship and prayer. In the book of Revelation, we see a significant verse in chapter 5:8

     “….having each one a harp and golden bowls of   

           incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”

This verse speaks of worship and prayer, that which is going on in Heaven. We, as the saints/holy ones of the Lord, are to model what goes on in Heaven, as we worship GOD, and pray for His purposes.  As our little group stood on the ground where Quakers, committed followers of Christ,  made a name for Jesus in the 1700’s, thru peaceful and quiet sharing of the Gospel, we hoped to ‘re-dig’ those deep wells of prayer and quiet worship, that ‘awoke’ people of our nation to the goodness and salvation of GOD!  

There is an amazing move of the Lord happening in the USA right now!  Thousands of young people are getting saved and being baptized on college campuses, all around our country.  In our nations capitol, on the same weekend that we hosted Worship Wells, more thousands gathered on the National Mall, worshipping the Lord in 50 state tents, and these same thousands, taking communion together at ‘Communion America’. It’s incredible what’s happening in our country. While the news shows daily chaos, GOD is truly moving!  We all have the chance to contribute to what He is doing, as we worship Him, pray for the nations, and sew into His Kingdom.  Thank you for being a part of re-digging these wells of revival through partnering with VOB, thru compassion to the needy, and thru worship and prayer. It’s so exciting!
